“I want to live in a Commonwealth where all families and communities are safe, taken care of and can prosper.”
David Zilles lives in Lynchburg working as a thermal fluids engineer and raising his two young children, Ethan aged 8, and Isabella aged 5. David was compelled to action in February of 2018 after one of the largest mass school shootings in U.S. history occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Now he’s ready to put pragmatic solutions in place to support a safe and prosperous community where everyone in the 23rd district can thrive.
Providing affordable and accessible healthcare and better mental health services to the Commonwealth, lowering prescription drug prices and addressing the Opioid epidemic.
Equity in Education
Increase funding for our public schools including appropriate pay raises for teachers and increased school safety measures.
Sensible Gun Reform
Protecting our families and communities from gun violence by passing sensible gun reform measures such as Universal Background Checks, Red Flag Laws, and effective Child Access Prevention laws.
Preserving the Commonwealth’s environment and cutting carbon emissions by moving to a clean and renewable energy portfolio.
